Installation

Requirements
------------
MR\ :sup:`3` \ is implemented by Java language. In ver. 25.3.1, JRE (Java Runtime Environment) 21 is embedded, so there is no need to install a JRE.

We confirmed MR\ :sup:`3` \ following environemnt.

* Windows 11
* macOS Tahoe 26.4

How to Install
--------------
Windows
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
#. Download **mrcube-25.3.1.msi** from the `download page <https://github.com/mr-3/mrcube/releases>`_ and open the file.
#. The message "Windows protected your PC" is displayed. Then, click on the "More info" link.
#. Click the "Run anyway" button.
#. "Do you want to allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your device?" is displayed in the dialog box. Then, Click "Yes" button.
#. Run the shortcut that is created on the desktop.

macOS
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
#. Download and extract **mrcube-25.3.1.dmg** from the `download page <https://github.com/mr-3/mrcube/releases>`_ and copy **mrcube-25.3.1.app** to the 'Applications' folder.
#. Run **mrcube-25.3.1.app**.
#. Open System Settings.
#. Click Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click the Open Anyway button.
#. The warning prompt reappears and click Open button.

How to Uninstall
----------------
Windows
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Select the Apps menu from the Settings screen, select **mrcube-25.3.1** from the list of installed apps and uninstall it.

macOS
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Delete **mrcube-25.3.1.app** from the applications folder.
